Purusant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Falcon Heights was duly called and held at the
i City Hall in said City on the 26th day of January, 1983 at 7:30 p.m.
The following members were present: Acting Mayor Larson, Council-
members Ciernia, Chestovich and Eggert, and the following were absent: Mayor
Warkentien.
Councilmember Eggert introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION 83-5A
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING FINAL 1980-1981 GRANT
FUNDS FOR LOCAL PLANNING FROM THE METROPOLITAN
COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights and the Metropolitan Council have
entered into an agreement fora local planning grant under Contract Number 77511
dated January 31, 1979, and amended on April 12, 1979, and
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights has completed its Comprehensive Plan
and submitted the report to the Metropolitan Council and all costs related to the
plan have been paid,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Falcon Heights,
that they have met-the requirements of the agreement and further request the
• Metropolitan Council to make final payment in the amount of $3,515.00.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilmember Chestovich and upon a vote being taken the follow-
ing voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Larson, Councilmembers Ciernia,
Chestovich and Eggert, and the following voted against the same: None.
WHEREUPON, said reolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
