Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
. Council of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on April 20, 1983.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers
Ciernia, Chestovich, Eggert and Larson, and the following were absent: None.
Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION 83-10
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REZONING OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS REQUESTED
BY HEWLETT PACKARD CORPORATION
WHEREAS, the City Council of Falcon Heights. has been petitioned by Hewlett
Packard Corporation to zone certain land within the City of Falcon Heights from
R-l, One Family Residential District and R-2, One and Two Family Residential
District, to B-lA, Limited Business and Processing District,
The legal description of said property is as follows:
The South 15 acres of the parcel of land which consists of the West
20 acres of the East half of the Southwest Quarter and the East 15
acres of the West half of the Southwest Quarter, all in Section 16,
Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, except that part
of the South 765 feet of said South. l5 acres which lies East of the
West 60 feet of said South 765 feet, subject to rights of the public
in County Raod A (Larpenteur Avenue) and subject also to cartway
easement upon the East 33 feet thereof.
Subject to easements and restrickions of record, if any.
Containing 5.85 acres, more or less.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Falcon
Heights to zone the above described property to B-lA, Limited Business and
Processing District, upon proof of purchase by Hewlett-Packard Corporation.
The motion for the foregoing resolution was. duly seconded by Councilmember
Eggert and upon a vote being taken thereon the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Ciernia, Chestovich,
Eggert and Larson, and the following voted against the same: None.
