• Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 11th
day of May, 1983.
The following members. were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers
Chestovich, Eggert, Larson and Ciernia, and the following were-absent: None.
Councilmember Chestovich introduced-the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION 83-16
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE 1983 SEALCOATING-
ALL STREETS IN THE SOUTHEAST QUADRANT OF THE
CITY
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Falcon Heights had advertised
for bids to sealcoat streets in the southeast quadrant of-the City and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were presented at bid opening 10:00
a.m. May 11, 1983:
Midwest Paving & Recycling $23,945.00
Bituminous Roadways., Inc. $24,283.00
Allied Blacktop Company $25,374.00
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Falcon Heights that the bid be awarded to Midwest Paving & Recycling, 6350
Industrial Drive, Eden Prairie, MN, 55344, to sealcoat all streets in the
southeast quadrant in an amount not to exceed $23,945.00.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilmember Larson and upon a vote being taken the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Chestovich, Eggert,
Larson and Ciernia,and the following voted against the same: None.
WHEREUPON, the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this
11th day of May, 1983.
