HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCRes_83-17CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 25th day of May, 1983. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Chestovich, Eggert, Larson and Ciernia, and the following members were absent: None. Councilmember Larson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 83-17 A RESOLUTION REQUESTING RAMSEY COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS TO POST REGULATORY PARKING SIGNS ON THE EAST AND WEST SIDE OF FAIRVIEW AVENUE BEGINNING AT LARPENTEUR AND RUNNING TO ROSELAWN AVENUE WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has had several requests due to excessive parking, to post Fairview Avenue on the east and west side from Larpenteur Avenue northerly to Roselawn Avenue and, WHEREAS, said parking has created a traffic and snow removal hazard for the County Sheriff and Road Departments, NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED, that the City Council of-the City of Falcon Heights respectfully requests the Ramsey County Board of Commission- ers to authorize " Two Hour Parking from 8:00 A.M, to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, Except Holidays" and authorize the Ramsey County Highway Department to erect said signs so enforcement can be conducted. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Eggert, and upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor thereofc Mayor Warkentien, Councilmemhers Chestovich, Eggert, Larson and Ciernia, and the following voted against the same: None.
