Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held
~. on the 11th day of January, 1978.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Council-
members Black, McGough, Steele and Brown, and the following were
absent: None.
Councilman McGough _introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption.
RESOLUTION 78-1
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE OFFICIAL DEPOSITORY
FOR THE GENERAL AND SINKING FUNDS OF THE CITY OF
FALCON HEIGHTS
WHEREAS, The City of Falcon Heights does not. have a bank
within its boundaries, and in the past has designated North
Star State Bank, Roseville as its depository for the funds of
the City of Falcon Heights.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council
of the City of Falcon Heights: That the North Star State Bank
of Roseville be designated as depository for the funds of the
City of Falcon Heights, and the City Treasurer is authorized
to deposit general and other funds therein.
~° BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that collateral shall be furnished
by the North Star State Bank as required by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was
duly seconded by Councilman Steele and upon a vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor
Warkentien, Councilmembers Black, McGough, Steele and Brown,
and the following voted against the same: None
WHEREUPON, the Resolution was declared duly. passed and
adopted.
