MAY 10, 1978
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of th_e City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota
was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the
10th day of May 1978, at 7:30 p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Council
members Black, McGough, Steele and Brown and the ~ollow.ng
members were absent: None.
Councilmember Brown introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 78-13
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights is interested in applying
for a grant under Small Cities: Grants, HUD, to assist th.e City
in draining the area included in the St. Anthony Storm Sewer
area in the amount of $7.50,000 and,
WHEREAS, it is required to have the City ~1ake a pre.-applca¢
tion on or before May 15, 1978..
NOWyTHEREFORE, the City Council of Falcon Heights. directs
the Clerk Administrator of the City of Falcon Heights to pro-
ceed with all necessary data and make pre-application on or
prior to May 15, 1978 to apply for a Small Cities Grant? HUD,
for the purpose of installing a Storm Sewer which shall benefit
the portion of the area of falcon Heights which. is included ~n
the St. Anthony Storm Sewer Area.
The motion for the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Steele and upon a vote being taken the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Black,
McGough, Steele and Brown and the following voted against same:
None.
WHEREUPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted
this 10th day of May, 1978. ~,
