CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 27th day of
September, 1978.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers
Black, McGough, Steele, and Brown, and the following were absent: None.
Council.member Black introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption.
RESOLUTION 78-20
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CLERK ADMINISTRATOR
TO EXECUTE THE .~(3SE`~AWq' AVENUE STREET EASEMENT AGREEMENT
WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA.
BE IT HERESY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights,
Ramsey County, Minnesota, as follows:
WHEREAS, The City of Falcon Heights has agreed with Ramsey County and
the City of Roseville to participate in the construction costs for the upgrading
of Roselawn Avenue, and,
WHF~REAS, The University of Minnesota owns the majority of the land lying
Southerly of said improvement, and,
WHE1'~' , it is necessary to acquire from the University of Minnesota
enough right-of-way to complete the contract, and,
WHEREAS, The University is desirious of having an agreement signed
stipulating ,certain conditions and a monetary amount of $2,139.00 for
acquisition .
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby authorizes
the Mayor and Clerk Administrator to execute said agreement as stipulated, so
that the upgrading of Roselawn Avenue from Snelling Avenue to Fairview can be
expedited.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilmembers Brown and upon vote being taken the following
voted "Aye~t, MayorWarkentien, Councilmembers Black, McGough, Steele and
Brown and the following voted ~'Nayt~ ,None.
WHENEUPON, the said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
