HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCRes_79-11CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular Meeting of the Ci Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 28th day of February, 1979. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Black, McGough, Steele and Brown, and the following were absent: None. Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION 7;~-11 A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING TH1; NORTHWEST SUBURBAN YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU AND URGING '.LHAT SCHOOL DISTRICTS 621 AND 623 TO JOIN IN ON THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT S, The City of Falcon Heights has been supportive financially of the Northwest Suburban Youth Service Bureau wii;h numerous other communities and with and dress opinion that School Districts Ei21 and 623 would likewise be supportive, WHEREAS, the Northwest Suburban Youth Service Bureau is an essential organi- zation to the area it serves in respect to youth and the quality of 1if e, and, WHEREAS, concerns of the Bureau in relationship to the School District and youth have a significant impact on the serazces rendered by the Youth Service Bureau. T, FORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights is supportive of the Northwest Suburban Youth Service Bureau and further urges School Districts 621 and 623 to expeditiously support financially the Bureau's needs as they had originally indicated, and. keeping in mind their utilization of the Youth Service Bureau. The foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Brown and upon a vote being taken the following voted ~saye~ss: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Black, McGough, Steele and Brown and the following voted "nay's: None.
