Pursuant to due ca11 and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 1l~th day of
March 1979•
The following meanbers were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers
Black, McGough, Steele and Brown, and the following were absent: None.
Councilmember McGough introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption;..
RESOLUTION 79-12
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ST, PAUL WATER DEPARTMENT
TO EXCLUDE THE iTNIVERSITY FARM CAMPUS AND STATE FAIR-
GROUNDS FROM THE !~~ WATER SURCHARGE AND AUTHORIZE THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMEATT
WfiEHEAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has adopted a !t~
Water Surcharge based on water usage and,
WHEREAS, the University Farm Campus and State Fairgrounds maintain the~.r
own water systeum on installation and repairs, therefore there would be no
obligatio:: to the City of Falcon Heights to incur at~r expense on the following
connections:
a. 1527 North 5ne11ing -Minnesota State Agricultural Society

WHEREAS, the St. Paul. Board of Water Commissioners require an agreement
spelling out the exemptions and conditions to insitiute the collection of the
!~,$ Water Surcharge,
NOW TIiEREF'ORE, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights hereby
authorizes the Mayor to execute said agreement on behalf of the City stipulating
the exempt commercial property as listed above and authorize the St. Paul Hoard
of Water Commissioners to implement the !~~ Water Surcharge immediately.
• The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Brown, and upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Black, McGough, Steele and Brown,
and the following voted against the same: None.
WHEREUPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
