Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City-~f Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 23rd day of May, 1979.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers McGough,
Kurpiewski, and Brown, and the following were absent: Councilmember Steele.
Councilman McGou~ introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 79-16
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BIDS FOR GARDEN AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
(MSAP 124-105-02), AND THE 1979 SEALCOATING PROJECT, AND SETTING A DATE
FOR BIDS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has approved the plans
and specifications for the improvement of Garden Avenue from Pascal to Snelling Avenue
(MSAP 124-105-02) and necessary appurtenances, and the 1979 Sealcoating project.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has set the date for
bid opening for the above-mentioned projects at 2:00 p.m., June 22nd, 1979, with the
award of bids to be made at the regular meeting of the Council on June 27, 1979.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights
that aurhorization be given the Clerk-Administrator to advertise for bids for the Garden
Avenue improvement project (MSAP-124-105-02) and the 1979 Sealcoating project, as submitted
by the City Engineer.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
~uncilmember Kurpiewski and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers McGough, Kurpiewski, and Brown and the
following voted against the same: None.
WHEREUPON, the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
