Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special Meeting of the City
• Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 26th day of June,
1979.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers
McGough, Kurpiewski, Steele and Brown. The following members were absent: None.
Councilmember Steele introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 79-17
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE 1979 SEALCOATING AND GARDEN. AVENUE
STREET IMPROVEMENT (MSAP 124-105-02)
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Falcon Heights had advertized for
bids to sealcoat streets east of Snelling Avenue and to reconstruct Garden Avenue
from Snelling Avenue to Pascal Avenue and,
WHEREAS, the following bid was presented at bid opening at 2:00 p.m.
June 22, 1979:
Black Top Service Co. Sealcoating Garden Avenue
1200 W. Highway 13 $52,566.75 $162,129.77
Burnsville, MN
Total $214,696.52
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Falcon
Heights that the bid be awarded to Black Top Service Co., 1200 West Highway 13,
Burnsville, MN to seal coat all streets east of Snelling in the amount of $52,566.75
and to reconstruct Garden Avenue under Project No. MSAP 124-105-02, from Snelling
Avenue to Pascal in the amount of $162,129..77.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Mayor Warkentien and upon a vote being taken the following voted
"aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers McGough, Kurpiewski, Steele and Brown, and
the following voted "nay": None
WHEREUPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this 26th
day of June, 1979.
