Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of tiie City of Falcon heights, Minnesota, was held on the 11th day of July,
~.9 79 .
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers
McGough, Stone, Steele, and Brown, and the following were absent: None.

Councilmember Steele introduced the following resolution and moved its
RESOLUTION 79-20
A RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION 79-13, ESTABLISHING A FIRE
LANE AT 1607 WEST LARPENTEUR AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City Council has reconsidered their action of April 11, 1979,
Resolution 79-13 to change the location of the Fire Lane at 1607 West Larpenteur Ave.
and,
~JHEREAS, Resolution 79-5 of February l4, 1979 establishing the Fire Lane on
the peripheral of the parking lot and with minor corrections to Resolution 79-8 will
make it more functional as follows:
(a) Remove the two westerly parking slots.
(b) Locate the Fire Lane Signs 5' above the sidewalk adjacant to the
building from the base of the sign.
(c) Place two more reflectorized signs on the building.
NOTrl THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council that Resolution 79-g
shall be in effect subject to the above adjustments and changes.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Mayor Warkentien, and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele and Brown, and the following
voted against the same: Councilmember McGough. Councilmember Stone abstained.
WHEREAS, the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
