HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCRes_79-23CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 10th day of October, 1979. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown and Stone, and the following members were absent: None. Councilmember Steele. introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION 79-23 A RESOLUTION REQUESTING RAMSEY COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS TO POST "NO PARKING ANYTIME" ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH SIDE OF LARPENTEUR AVENUE BEGINNING FROM CLEVELAND AVENUE, TO FULHAM STREET. ~ WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has had several requests~~. due to excessive parking, to post Larpenteur Avenue on the north and south side from Cleveland Avenue westerly to Fulham Street and, WHEREAS, said parking has created a traffic and snow removal hazard for the County Sheriffs and Road Departments. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Falcon. Heights respectfully requests the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners to authorize "No Parking Anytime" and authorize the Ramsey County Highway Department to erect said signs so enforcement can be conducted. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Warkentien and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown and Stone, and the following voted against the same: None.
