Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 24th day of October, 1979.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele,
Brown and Stone and the following were absent: None.
Councilmember Brown introduced .the following Resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 79-26
1980 SHADE TREE PROGRAM
BE IT RESOLVED that the following shade tree program budget for sani-
tation and replan:tngof trees for the calendar year 1980 is hereby approved
and that the city share of said budget is available in the General Fund.

Personnel
Equipment Use 500
Outside Contracts 31,000
Miscellaneous 9,000
TOTAL 31, 000 '_9, j 500'
• BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk Administrator are hereby
authorized to execute and submit the 1980 Shade Tree Program application to
the Minnesota Department of Agriculture.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Steele and upon a vote the following voted in favor thereof:
Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown and Stone and the following
voted against same: None.
WHEREUPON, the said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
