HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCRes_80-05CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS MARCH 5, 1980 • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 5th day of March, 1980 at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, Eggert and Larson and the following were absent: None. Mayor Warkentien introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: ' RESOLUTION 80-5 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CLERK ADMINISTRATOR , TO TRANSFER $15,000 FROM THE LIQUOR OPERATING FUND TO THE SANITARY SEWER FUND TO LIQUIDATE THE TEMPORARY LOAN OF 1972. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights borrowed $124,000 from the Sanitary Sewer fund in the years 1972 and 1973 and, WHEREAS, the unpaid balance of $15,000 is due the Sanitary Sewer Fund and, WHEREAS, the Clerk Administrator determined that the Liquor Fund had sufficient funds to liquidate that balance and therefore polled the Council to authorize him to liquidate said balance on February 27, 1980. • NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of Falcon Heights hereby confirms their authorizing the Clerk Administrator to liquidate said loan in the amount of $15,000 as of February 27, 1980. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Steele and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, Eggert and Larson and the following voted against the same: None.
