Pursuant to due call and notice therof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 14th day of May,
1980.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers
Brown, Eggert and Larson and the following members were absent: Councilmember
Steele. Councilmember Brown introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION 80-12
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE 1980 SEALCOATING, WEST OF
SNELLING
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Falcon Heights had advertised for
bids to sealcoat streets west of Snelling Avenue and,
WHEREAS, the following bid was presented at bid opening at 2:00 p.m.
May 13, 1980: (Low Bidder)
Bituminous Roadways, Inc. $39,331.00
2825 Cedar Ave. S.
Minneapolis, MN 55407
AND WHEREAS, the Contractor shall be required to negotiate a change
order for patching so that the contract will not exceed the 1980 Budget of $33,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Falcon
Heights that the bid be awarded to Bituminous Roadways, Inc., 2825 Cedar Ave. S.,
Minneapolis, MN to sealcoat all streets west of Snelling in an amount not to exceed
$33,000.00.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Larson and upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Brown, Eggert and Larson, and the follow-
ing voted against the same: None.
WHEREUPON, the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this 14th
day of May, 1980.
