Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
• Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 17th day
of September, 1980.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers
Steele, Brown, Larson and Eggert and the following members were absent: None.
Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION 80-24
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DELEGATING THE
CLERK ADMINISTRATOR TO BE THE DESIGNATED OFFICIAL
TO SIGN THE APPLICATION FOR ELIGIBILITY IN PUR-
CHASING OF SURPLUS PROPERTIES.
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Administration, Division of Federal
Surplus Property has requested that the City of Falcon Heights designate an
official to execute an application for eligibility authorizing them to purchase
surplus properties and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to have the privilege of purchasing
surplus properties,
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Clerk Administrator be authorized
to be the certifying official for the City of Falcon Heights, MN, and be author-
ized to sign the application.

Councilmember Larsonand upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, Larson and Eggert and
the following voted against same: None.
WHEREUPON the motion was declared duly passed and adopted.
