HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCRes_81-18CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 7th • day of October, 1981. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Council- members Brown, Eggert and Larson, and the following were absent: Council- member Steele. Councilmember Eggert introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 81-18 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STREET LIGHT REPAIRS IN AUDITOR'S SUB- DIVISIONS 71 AND 90 IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,993.08 WHEREAS, pursuant to notice duly given as required by law, the City Council has met, heard and upon all objections to the proposed assessment for street light repairs in Auditor's Subdivisions 71 and 90 and has amended such proposed assessment as it deems just: 1. Such proposed assessment is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named .therein, and each tract of land therein is hereby found to be benefitted by the improvements; • 2. Such assessment shall be payable in one annual installment to be payable with general taxes for the year 1981, collectible with such taxes during the year 1982; 3. The City Clerk Administrator shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate copy of this assessment to the County Auditor to be extended on the tax list of the County. The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Larson and upon a vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Brown, Eggert and Larson and the following voted against same: None.
