Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights was duly called and held
at the City Hall in said City on the 28th day of October, 1981 at 7:30
p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Council-
members Steele, Brown, Eggert and Larson and the following were
absent: None.
Councilmember Steele introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 81-20
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE LEGISLATURE OF
THE STATE OF MINNESOTA TO CONSIDER IN THEIR
REAPPORTIONMENT PROCESS TO INCLUDE THE CITY
OF FALCON HEIGHTS IN THE NORTH SUBURBAN
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the State Legislature is in the reapportionment process
of Legislative Districts, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of Falcon Heights has a preference as
to which district they should be included in known as the North Suburban
Area.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights
requests the Legislature of the. State of Minnesota to include the City
of Falcon Heights within the North Suburban Area District.
The motion for-the adoption of the foregoingresolution was duly
seconded by Mayor Warkentien and upon a vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: P~4ayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele,
Brown, Eggert and Larson and the following voted against the same: None.
WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
