Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Falcon Heights was duly called and held at the
,_ pail in said City on the 28th day of Ocrober, 1981 at 7:30 p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers
Steele, Brown, Eggert and Larson, and the following were absent: None.

Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved its
RESOLUTION 81-21
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN LAND NON-
CONSERVATION AND MAKING APPLICATION-FOR CON-
VEYANCE OF SAID TAX FORFEITED LAND FOR STREET
RIGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Ramsey County by
Resolution dated October 5, 1981, classified as non-conservation land, certain
land Lying within the limits of the City of Falcon Heights; and
WHEREAS, A copy of the classification resolution together with a list
of the land classified has been submitted for approval of the classification in
accordance with Minnesota Statutes Annotated, Section 282.01, sub. 1; and
WHEREAS, The City of Falcon Heights has determined-that said land is
required for street right-of-way purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That said classification of the land
shown on said list as non-conservation land is .hereby approved; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the proper City officials be and hereby
are authorized to make an application for conveyance of said tax forfeited land
for street right-of-way purposes; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Clerk be and hereby is authorized
to file a certified copy of this resolution and application for conveyance of said
tax forfeited land in the Office of the Land Commissioner.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Brown and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, Eggert and Larson
and the following voted against the same: None.
