Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 13th day of
March, 1975.
The following members were present:- Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen B1aek,
Ecklund Steele and Labalestra
and the following mem ers were absen N~riA
Mayor Warkentien introduced the following Resolution, and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION #75-12
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO POLICIES AND
PROCEDURES OF MEMBERS TrIHILE SERVING ON
THE FALCON HEIGHTS GITY COUNCIL
BE IT RESOLVED, that any person serving currently or in the future,
as an elected representative of the citizens of the City of Falcon Heights,
shall not hold arm other paid or nonpaid position in the City that would in
any way interfexewith the carrying out of duties of at~y councilperson in re-
gards to specific assignments delegated by the Mayor. Nor, shall at~r elected
representative serve in arty capacity within the City that would, in the opinion
of the ma3ority of the Council, cause embarrassment to the City, its citizens,
elected officials, appointed committee persons, or employees of the City.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was seconded
by Councilman Steele , and .;,upon a vote being taken, the following voted
in favor thereof: Ma or Warkentien Councilmen Black Steele and
Labalestra , and e
following voted against the same: None. Councilman Ecklund abstained.
WHL~tEUPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
Passed by the City Council this 13th day of March, 1975.
