Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the Gity of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 10th
day of July, 19 75.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen
Black, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following was absent: Councilman
Ecklund.
Councilman Labalestra introduced the following Resolution, and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION X75-20
RECEIVING THE PRELIMIIJARY REPORTS AND APPROVING THE
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOtt THE IMPROVEMENTS ON AtiONA
AND CRAWFOttD STttEETS, AND Ft~LATED APPURTENANCES
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary and expedient that the
City of Falcon Heights construct grading, base, bituminous surfacing, curb and
gutter, storm sewer, and related appurtenances on Arona Street from California
Avenue to Hoyt Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary and expedient that the
City of Falcon Heights construct grading, base, bituminous surfacing, curb and
gutter, and related appurtenances on Crawford Street from Snelling Drive to
Arona Street, and
WHEREAS, the Council has requested a preliminary report of Bonestroo,
Rosene, Anderlik, and Associates, City Consulting Engineers, and has been advised
by said engineers that the proposed improvements are feasible and should best be
made as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEY RESOLVEll by the City Council of the City
of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, that said preliminary report is hereby received
and ordered placed on file with the City Clerk Administrator.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly
seconded by Mayor t~fark®ntien, and upon a vote being taken, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Steele, and Labalestra,
and the following voted against the same: None.
WHEREUPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
