Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 10th day of
. J~Y~ 1975.
The f~.lowing meuabers were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen
Black, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following was absent: Councilman Ecklund.
Councilman Black introduced the following Resolution, and moved its
adoption:

A RESOLUTION ORDERING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE PROPOSED
IMPROVEMBrtTS ON AROMA AND CRAWFORD STREETS, PtTRSUANT TO
MINNESOTA STATOTES, CHAPTER J.~29
WHEREAS, the City Council decrees it necessary and expedient that the
City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, contract certain improvements consisting of
street, curb and gutter, and related appurtenances as described in, and in
accordance with preliminary plans and reports prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene,
Aaderlik and Associates, Consulting Engineers, and
WHEREAS, the Council has been advised by the Consulting Engineers that
the proposed improvements are feasible and should be made as proposed, and
WHEREAS, the Statutes provide that no such improvements shall be made
until the Council shall have caused two published notices of public hearing on
such improvements in the official newspaper, and shall be one week apart and the
last publication of meeting at least three days before the publis hearing, stating
the time and place of hearing, the general nature of the improvements, the estimated
costs thereof, and the area proposed to be assessed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Falcon Heights, Minnesotan
1. A public hearing will be held in the City of Falcon Heights, Minne-
sota, at the City Hall, 16l~l~ West Larpenteur Avenue, Tuesday, July 29, 1975 at
8:00 p.m. to consider the proposed improvements.
2. The City Council of the City of Falcon Heights proposed to proceed
under Chapter l~29, M.S.A.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution wan duly seconded
by Councilman Labalestra, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor: Mayer Warkent3.en, Councilmen Black, Steele, and Labalestra, and the
following voted against the same: None.
WHEREi1PON, the Resolution was declared duay passed and adopted.
