Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 8th
daT of Januar~r, 1976.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen
Black, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following were absent: Councilman
Ecklund.
Councilman Labalestra introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 76-6
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE POSTING OF "NO PARKING"
SI(~TS ON THE EAST SIDE OF FOLWELL AVENiTE
WHEREAS, a discussion was held by the Falcon Heights City Council
in regard to complaints received by the City of the parking problems on
Folwell Avenue starting at the intersection with Hoyt Avenue and proceeding
north 300 feet, and

WHEREAS, it was noted that the width of the street was only 30
WHEREAS, snow banks and cars parked on both sides of the street
limit the acces8ibility of emergency vehicles and buses,
THEftEE'ORE, ~ IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Falcon Heights does hereby authorize the installation of "No
Parking" signs on the east side of Fo1we11 Avenue starting at the inter-
section with Hoyt Avenue and proceeding north for 300 feet to alleviate
the traffic situation.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Steele, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Hlack,
Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted against the same: None.
WHEREUPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
