CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular ~®eting of
the City Council of the City of Falcon Hsights, Minn®sota, was held on
the 22nd day of April, 1976.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Council-
men Black, Ecklund, Steela, and Labalestra, and the following were absent:
Non®.
Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 76-11~
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING COMPLETION OF PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND PREPARATION OF BIDS FOR GARDEN
AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS AND SETTING A DATE FOR BIDS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has
det®rnined the need for street reconstruction, including concrete curb
and gutter, on Garden Avenue from Pascal to Holton Avenues, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of th® City of Falcon Heights has
det®rmined the width of such construction to be 38 f®et, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has
directed concrete curb and gutter to b® installed east of Holton Avenue
to Hamline Avenu®, and
WHEREAS, the abov® projects are to be funded with MSA funds, and
WHI~.REAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has set
the date for bid opening for the above-mentioned projects at 2:00 p.m.,
May 2.5, 1976, with the award of bids to be made at the regular meeting of
the Council on May 27, 1976,
NOW, T'H[EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of th® City
of Falcon Heights that authorization be given the City Engineer to com-
plete the plans and specifications for Gard®n Avenue improvements and
that authorization be given the Clerk-Administrator to advertise for bids,
as sub:nitt®d by the City Engine®r, and to award the bids for said Garden
Avenue improvem®nts.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
second®d by Councilman Steele, and upon a vote being taken, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Counciln-en Black and Ecklund,
and the following voted against the same: Counci7.iaen Steele and Labalestra.
