HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCRes_76-15CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof are ular meet' the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held onf the 13th day of May, 1976. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Council- men Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following w®re absent: None. Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 76-15 A RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION N0. 76-11~ AND AUTHORIZING COMPLETION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND PREPARATION OF BIDS FOR GARDEN AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS AND SETTING A DATE FOR BIDS WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has determined the need for street reconstruction, including concrete curb and gutter, on Garden Avenue from Pascal to Holton Avenues, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has determined the width of such construction to be 36 feet, and h~RFAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon .Heights has directed concrete curb and gutter to b® installed east of Holton Avenue to Haaline Avenue, and WHEREAS, the above protects are to be funded with MSA funds, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has set the date for bid opening for the above-mentioned prof®cts at 2:00 p.:a., May 25, 1976, with th® award of bids to b® made at the regular meeting of the Council on May 27, 1976, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights that authorization be given the City Engineer to com- plete the plans and specifications for Garden Avenue improvements and that authorization be given the Clerk-Administrator to advertise for bids, as submitted by the City Engineer, and to award the bids for said Garden Avenue improvements. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Labalestra, and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted against the same: Non®.
