CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on
the 13th day of May, 1976.
The following m®mbers were Aresent: Mayor Warkentien, Council-
m®n Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following were absent:
None.
Councilman Black introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 76-18
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON CRAWFORD
STREET FROM SHELLING SERVICE DRIVE TO AROMA AVENUE
(See Attached Resolution)
• The motion for the adoption of th® foregoing resolution was du1
seconded by Councilman Ecklund, and upon a vote being taken, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen illack, Ecklund, and
St®®le, and the following voted against the sam®: Councilman Labalestra.
WHEREUPON, the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

AGREEMENT
Relating to Parking Restrictions on Crawford Street
. (M,S.A.P. 124-104-01) from Snelling Service Drive (0+55) to Arona Avenue (5+95.6)
in the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota.
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 14th day of May, 1976, by and between
the City of Falcon Heights, in Ramsey County, Minnesota, and the Commissioner of
Highways, State of Minnesota. The Municipal corporation shall hereinafter be called
the "City" and the Commissioner of Highways of the State of Minnesota, hereinafter
shall be referred to as the "Commissioner," WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the "City" has planned the improvement of Crawford Street from Snelling
Service Drive to Arona Avenue,
WHEREAS, the "City" will be expending Municipal State Aid Funds on the improve-
went of said Street, and
WHEREAS, said improvement does not conform to the approved minimum standards
as previously adopted for such Municipal State Aid Streets and that approval of the
proposed construction as a Municipal State Aid Street pro3ect must therefore be
conditioned upon certain parking restrictions, and
WHEREAS, the extent of these restrictions that would be a necessary prerequisite
to the approval of this construction as a Municipal State Aid pro3ect in the "City"
i has been determined.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED by and between the parties hereto as follows:
That the "City" shall restrict the parking to motor vehicles on the on® side
of Crawford Street from the Snelling Avenue Service Drive to Arona Avenue at all times,
unless hereafter authorized in writing by the Commissioner.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF FALCON HBIGHTS AND
• COMMISSIONER OF HIGHWAYS, STATE OF MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Highways of the State of Minnesota has submitted
to the City Council for execution, an agreement relating to restriction of parking
on those streets and avenues wherein Municipal State Aid funds are used in improving
said streets and avenues,
NOW BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights that
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute for an on
behalf of and in the name of the City of Falcon Heights an agreement between the
City and the Commissioner of Highways wherein the City agrees to restrict parking
to one side of Crawford Avenue between the Snelling Avenue Service Drive and Arona
Avenue.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution is a true and correct copy of
a resolution presented to and adopted by the Council of the City of Falcon Heights,
Minnesota, at a duly authorized meeting thereof held on the 13th day of May, 1976,
as shown by the minutes of said meeting in my possession.
