Pursuant to due call and notice therof, a regular meeting of th e
City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the
'~ `~ 10th day of June, 1976.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen
Ecklund, Labelestra and Steele, and the following were absent: Council-
man Black.
Councilman Labelestra introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION #76-2$
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF MAYOR
WARKENTIEN AND COUNCILMAN ECKLUND AS ALTERNATE
TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE NORRHWEST SUB-
URBAN YOURS SERVICES BUREAU.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights is aware
of certain needs of youth in its area, and
WHEREAS, a newly formed Bureau has been formed by numerous comm-
unitites, with the City of Roseville being the sponsoring unit of Gov-
ernment, known as the nNorthwest Suburban Youth Services Bureaut+ and,
WHEREAS, Mayor Willis C. A. Warkentien has appointed himself as
an official voting member and Councilman Norman W. Ecklund as A1ter-
Hate to represent the City of Falcon Heights to the Northwest Sub-
urban Youth Services Bureau.
NOW, SORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Falcon Heights, that Mayor Willis C. A. Warkentien and Councilman
Norman W. Ecklund as Alternate, to be appointed as official voting merca-
bers to Northwest Suburban Youth Services Bureau in behalf of the City
of Falcon Heights, Minnesota.
The Motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Steele and upon a vote being taken, the follow-
ing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Steele and
Labelestra, and the following voted against: None.
WHEREIIPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
