Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 1L~th day
of October, 1976.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen
Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra, and the following members were ab-
sent: None.
Councilman Labalestra introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption.
RESOLUTION 76-3l~
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING R,AMSEY COUNTY BOARD OF COMI~SSIONERS TO POST
2 HOUR PARKING ON THE NORTH SIDE OF LARPENTEUR AVENUE BEGINNING FROM
FAIRVIEW AVENUE THENCE WESTERLY 163l~ FEET.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has had
several requests, due to excessive all day parking, to post Larpenteur
Avenue on the north side from Fairview Avenue westerly 163l~ feet, which
abuts commercial property and,
WIiERL~~AS, said parking has created a traffic hazard for customers
exiting from the commercial business,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
of Falcon Heights respectfully requests the Ramsey County Board of Comm-
issioners to authorize 2 hour parking from 8:00 a.m. to L~:00 p.m. daily
except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays and authorize the Ramsey County
highway Department to erect said signs so enforcement can be conducted.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Ecklund, and upon a vote being taken, thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black,
Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra, and the following voted against the same:
None.
WHEREUPON, the motion was declared duly passed and adopted.
