Pursuant to due call and notice therof, a special meeting of the City
• Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 10th day of
November, 1976.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black,
Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the following were absent: None.
Councilman Steele introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption.
RESOLUTION 76-37
A RESOLUTION STATING 7IIAT THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS SHALL NOT
EXPEND PUBLIC FUNDS FOR ANY WORK ON PRIVATE PROPERTY
WHEREAS, during the accomplishment of a public pro3ect, the City of Falcon
Heights shall not expend public funds for any work on private property and,
WHEREAS, the property owner shall contract separately with the contractor
if such work is desired, and
WHEREAS, the property owner shall be totally responsible for paying the
contractor for work done on private property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the City shall not negotiate
with the contractor or assist the property owner in any way in accomplishing
• this private work.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Ecklund and upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra
and the following against the same: None. Motion carried.
WHEREUPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
