HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCRes_77-04CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 27th day of • January, 1977. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the following members were absent: None. Councilman Ecklund introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION 77-1~ WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has a concern in respect to the traffic flow at the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and Roselawn Avenue and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights believes this could be alleviated by installing a four-way stop sign, thereby permitting traffic to flow more evenly on Roselawn Avenue for traffic going East and West. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights requests Ramsey County to conduct a survey at said intersection (Roselawn and Cleveland Avenues) to determine the feasibility of installing four-way stop signs which would permit a more even flow of traffic on Roselawn and Cleveland Avenues, especially at said intersection. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly second- ed by Mayor Warkentien and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the following voted against the same: None. 1r~HEREUPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. ,~ _ % ~i~'_-~~..c..1 ~ t ~~ vf~~'~~i~ /'C-c~:~..~i.t..~...
