Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 27th day of
• January , 1977.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen
Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the following members were absent: None.
Councilman Steele introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption.
RESOLUTION 77-5
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights is concerned
about the existing condition of Roselawn Avenue from Hamline Avenue westerly to
Fulham Street, and
WHEREAS, said thoroughfare is under the jurisdiction of Ramsey County,
and
WHEREAS, Ramsey County submitted plans to the City of Falcon Heights
for review and approval at their regular meeting of June 26, 1963, for recon-
struction within eight years to a ~t~ foot width to provide two 12 foot lanes and
two 10 foot parking lanes, and
WHEREAS, the City Council feels this project is long overdue,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Falcon
Heights hereby requests the Board of Commissioners of the County of Ramsey to
• initiate action to upgrade Roselawn Avenue from Hamline Avenue westerly to
Fulham Street in reference to their plans which the City Council approved at
their June 26, 1963, regular meeting.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly second-
ed by Councilman Labalestra and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilman Black, Ecklund, Steele and
Labalestra and the following voted against the same: None.
WHEREUPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
