Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special Meeting
of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was
• held on the 7th day of July, 1977.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen
Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra, and the following members
were absent: None; introduced the following motion and. moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION 77 - 18
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF ASSISTANCE
FOR SHADE TREE SANITATION ON PRIVATE PROPERTY
UNDER MINNESOTA STATUES 18.023 of 1977.
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights has entered
into a Joint Agreement with the Minnesota Depart-
ment of Agriculture and under Minnesota Statute
18..023 which provides for State Assistance for
Shade Tree Sanitation program and,
WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota requires the
City to establish a rate of disbursement:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Falcon Heights, Minnesota does hereby establish
the rate of assistance to private property owners
. at 80% of the cost of removal effective January 1,
1977.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Ecklund, and upon a vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen
Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the following voted against
the same: None.
WHEREUPON, the motion was declared duly passed and adopted.
