FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Couneil of the City Of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held
on the 27th day of October, 1977.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Council-
men Black, McGough, Steele and Labalestra, and the following members
were absent: None.
Mayor Warkentien introduced the following motion and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION 77-27
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CLERK ADMINIS-
TRATOR TO POST THE CITY GENERAL-SPECIAL
CITY ELECTION BALLOTS IN LIEU OF PUBLISHING
AS PER MINNESOTA STATUTES 205.11 and 205.16
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon=.Heghts:s holding the~a.;_Cty
General Election and Special Election on November 8, 1977 and,
WHEREAS, The City Couneil s.•a~a~re ofcMnnesota Statutes 205.11
and 205.16 which permits a city of Fourth Class to post ballots in
lieu of publishing and are interested in economizing,
NOW.THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED,. by the City Council of the City
of Falcon Heights to permit the Clerk Administrator to post sample
• ballots of the General and Special Election to be held on November
8, 1977 in lieu of publishing the sample ballots_
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing motion was duly
seconded by Councilman Steele, and upon a vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen
Black, McGough, Steele and Labalestra, and the fallowing voted against
the same: None.
WHEREUPON, the motion was declared duly passe d adopted.
