HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCRes_72-06VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS v Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Villago of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the lUth day of February, 1972. The following members were presents Acting Mayor Stone, Counciiuun: Black, Ecklund and Taylor. The following member was absent: Mayor Warkentien Councilman Taylor introduced th• following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUPION N0. 72-6 Adopting and Approval of Federal Ai.d Urban System in the Village of Falcon Heights. T~kiEREAS, The Congress of the United States thru the Federal Highway Administration has requested the establishment of a new Federal.A3.d Urban System; and WHEREAS, the Initiation of such system shall be a cooperative sYi'ort of the appropriate local officials and State Highway Departments; and WHEREA-ti, technical representatives of local and state transportation offices have jointly agreed upon an initial system of routes to recommend for designation in the new Federal Aid Urban System. Now, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED;-that the Village Council of the Vill.~go of Falcon Heights,. requests the Commissioner of Highways to recommend to the Federal Highway Administrator the selection of roads and streets hereinafter described, located within the boundaries of the Village of Falcon Heights, as an initial and partial request for designation as part of the Federal Aid Urban System. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly Seconded by CounciLnan Black, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Stone, Councilmen: Black, Ecklund and Taylor, and the following voted against: None. Where upon the Resolution was declared duly Passed and adopted.
