Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council
of the Dillage of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 8th day of June, 19?2
The following members were present:'Acting Mayor Stone, Councilmen Black, Ecklund,
Taylor. The following members were absent: Mayor Warkentien until 10:50 P.M.
Councilman Ecklund introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 72-8
WHEREAS, The Falcon Heights Village Council opened Bids on June 2, 1972, at
2:00 P.M., for Fire Truck Chassis and Motor Fire Apparatus and,
WHEREAS, The following tabulations of Bids were received:

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of
Falcon Heights: That the Village accept the low Bid A of Midway Ford Company, 1$50
University Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota, in the amount of $11,137.00, on condition
that the Village receive a registered letter prior to the next regular meeting, from
Midway Ford Company, giving assurance that Midway Ford Company can and will deliver a
1973 Model Chassis in accordance with the advertisement for Bids, and that the deposits
on the three lowest Bids be retained for a period extending to the next day following
the next regular meeting, and that the Mayor and Clerk-Administrator are hereby author-
ized and directed to enter into a contract.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Black, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following noted in favor
thereof: Acting Mayor Stone, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Taylor, and the following
toted against: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
