HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCRes_72-09VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 8th day of June, 1972. The following members were present: Acting rlayor Stone, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Taylor. The following members were absent. ~r_or Warkentien until 10:50 P.M. Councilman Ecklund introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 72-9 WHEREAS, The Falcon Heights Village Council opened Bids on June 2, 1972, at 2:00 P.M., for Fire Truck Chassis and Motor Fire Apparatus and, WHEREAS, The following tabulations of Bids were received: BID B General Safety Equipment American LaFrance American Fire Apparatus Persch Fire Apparatus BID C John. Bean FMC Coropration American LaFrance American Fire Apparatus Pete Persch & Sons $ 19,782.00 21,798.00 2,755.00 19,193.00 39,035.5 36,573.00 ~.t~, 255 . o0 l~1,126.00 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights: That the Village accept the low Bid B of General Safety Equipment Corporation, North Branch, Minnesota, for Fire Appe:ratu~.and Eq~iipment, in the amount of $19,782.00, and that the Mayor and Clerk-Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Taylor, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Stone, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Taylor, and the following voted against: None.
