EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA HELD: JULY 13, 1972 ~Cp J UAL 19191 RESOLUTION 72 -19 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Halp in said Village on the 13th day of July, 1972, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. The .following .members were .present :Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Stone. and the following were absent : Councilman Taylor. The Council received bids on construction of Street Improvements of 1972 in the Village, and after publicly opening, tabulating and analyzing said bids, proceeded to consider said bids. The following bids were. received: Bidder Address Amount of Bid I• c; ~- , ~4 After discussion Councilman Black introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 72-19 RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT ON STREET IMPROVEMENTS OF 1972 WFU;REAS, after advertisement for construction bids on Street Improvements of 1972 had been duly published in accordance with law, said bids were duly receives, tabulated and broken down to indicate the portion of the bid price attributable to bituminous curbing, including sod replacement, street improvements more particularly described in the Notice of Public Hearing attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOTr~T THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, as follows: 1. A11 bids on construction of Street Improvements of 1972 are hereby received and tabulated. 2. The bid of Bituminous Roadways, 2825 Cedar Avenue, Minneapolis. Minnesota in the amount of $10, 70.70 for the construction of said improvements including $ 1,l~28.80 allocated to the construction of the improvements described in said Notice of Public Hearing). in accordance with the plans and specifications. and advertisement for bids is the lowest responsible bid and shall be and hereby is accepted. 3• The Mayor and Clerk-Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with said bidder for the construction of said improve- ments for andon behalf of the Village . The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit of the successful bidder shall be retained until a contract has been executed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Ecklund, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Stone, and the following voted against: None, Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
