RESOLUTION DECLARING COST 'I'O IIE
ASSESSED, ORDERING PREY!',}t!,'I'lON
OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT DOLL
AND CALLING FOR PUBLIC 1}}.~;l1RING
IN CONNECTION WITH STI~,i ;l?'1'
IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, contracts have been .let for the construc-
tion of certain improvements in the V;.11age, to-wit: street
improvements as more particularly des~:r~_bed in the Notice of
Hearing herein.
WHEREAS, the total cost of _~<~.id improvements is
$ 1,755.00 ;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVI~.~ by the Village Council
of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The Village Council hez°eby determines that said
$ 1,755.00 shall be assessed again;~t benefitted property
owners based upon benefits received t~~~thout regard to cash
valuation.
. 2. The Village Clerk witY~ the assistance of the
Village consulting engineer shall foi'f;hwith calculate the
proper amount to be specially assessed f'or such improvement
against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land without
regard to cash valuation as provided }~y law, and he shall
file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for
public inspection.
3. The Village Clerk shall, upon the completion
of such proposed assessment, publish notice that this Council
will meet to consider the proposed as ~_~ssments on October 12 ,
1972, at 9:00 o'clock P.M, in the Vill;:~.ge Hall of said
Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota.
4. Such notice shall be in substantially the
following form:

5. At least two weeks prior to the hearing, s~3.id
notice shall be pub7.ished by the Village Clerk in the off':ici.al
newspaper and mailed by said C7.er.k to the owners of each parcel
described in the assessment roll.

FOR STRL;ET IMPROVEML;NTS
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
TIME, PLACE AND Notice is hereby given that the
PURPOSE: Village Council of the Village
of Falcon Heights, Minnesota,
will meet in the Village Hall
in the Village of Falcon Heights,
Minnesota, on the 12th day of
October , 1972, at 9:00 P.1~1.
o'clock P.M. to consider objec-
tions to the proposed assessments
for Street Improvements hereto-
fore ordered by the Village Council.
NATURE OF IMPROVEMENT: The construction of bituminous
curbing, including sod replacement,
along the eastern side of Fry Street
between Larpenteur Avenue to a point
approximately 175 feet north thereof
which is the northwestern point of
the B-2 zoning district abutting
Fry Street, and along the western
side of Fry Street between Larpen-
teur Avenue and a point approximately
450 feet north thereof which is the
northeastern point of the R-3 zoning
district abutting Fry Street, in the
Village of Falcon Heights.
ASSESSMENT ROLL The proposed assessment roll is on
OPEN TO INSPECTION: file with the Village Clerk and
open to public inspection.
AREA PROPOSED The area proposed to be assessed
TO BE ASSESSED: consists of every lot, piece or
parcel of land benefitted by said
improvement, abutting thereon.
WRITTEN OR ORAL Written or oral objections will be
OBJECTIONS: considered at the hearing.
