Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular
meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights,
Minnesota, was duly held at the Village Ha11 in said Village
on the 20th day of November, 1972, at 7:30 o~clock P.M.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien,
Councilman Stone, Councilman Black, Councilwoman Stocker, and
the following were absent: Councilman Eckland.
Member Stone introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:.
RESOLUTION REDUCING THE TAX. LEVY FOR 1973.
WHEREAS, Congress has provided for the distri-
. bution of certain funds to local units of
government under a national program for revenue
sharing;
WHEREAS, The Village of Falcon Heights, accor-
ding to the best information available, will
receive $21,484.00 of Federal Revenue Sharing
Funds at the end of calendar year 1972 or the
beginning of calendaryear 1973;
WHEREAS, The .Village Council is highly desirous
of using those funds to reduce the property
tax levy for taxes payable in 1973;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the
Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. The 1972 tax levy for taxes pay-
able in 1973, for the Village of
.Falcon Heights, Minnesota, pre-
viously transmitted to the Ramsey
CountyAuditor, shall be reduced
by 21,484.00.
• 2. The reduction shall be taken from
the general fund account.

i The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolu-
tion was duly seconded by Member Black and upon a vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Council-
man Stone, Councilman Black, and Councilwoman Stocker.
The following voted against the same: none. .The
following abstained: Mayor Warkentien.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed '
and adopted.

acting Clerk of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, DO
HEREBY CERTIFY that I have carefully compared the attached
and foregoing extract of minutes. with the original minutes
of a meeting of the Village Council held on the date therein
indicated, which are on file and of record in my office, and
the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom
• insofar as the same relates to a resolution reducing the
tax. levy for 1973
in said Village.
