HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCRes_73-13 VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village C~ Council of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 10th day of May, 1973. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black and Ecklund, and Councilwoman Stocker. The following member was absent: Councilman Stone. Councilman Black introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION #73 l3 THE VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS ACKNOWLEDGES RECEIPT OF THE LETTER AND RESOLUTION OF THE RAMSEY COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS RELATIVE TO THE TOPICS PROGRAM WHEREAS, The Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights approved the original plans with modifications, labeled "Exhibit A", as per Resolution #73-6, dated March 1, 1973. WHEREAS, The plans approved by the Village provided that no trees were to be removed in the vicinity of the interchange, and a temporary curb cut was to be installed in the median to allow access to the alley between Larpenteur Avenue and California Avenue, there would be installation of left turn lanes and left turn signals, and. said plan would be fully funded by the federal and state under the TOPICS Program. WFiEREA5, The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners has seen fit to alter the plans without further const~.ltation with the Village of Falcon Heights. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, By the Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights, that it has no recourse in the matter and must accede to the revised plans for the TOPICS Program as submitted by Deane R. Anklan, Ramsey County Engineer, in his letter of May 3, 1973, and approval of said plan by the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners by Resolution #9-1708. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by • Councilman Ecklund, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, and Ecklund, and Councilwoman Stocker, and the following voted against the same: None. :.... ,. .rWhereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this 10th day of May, 1973• i ~. ~"c.Qi ~` -~.
