EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA
HELD: OCTOBER 11, 1973
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular
meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Falcon
Heights, Minnesota, was duly held at the Village Hall in
said Village on the llth day of October, 1973, at 8:00 P.M.
The following members were present: Mayor Warke.ntien;
Members Black, Stone, Ecklund and Stocker, and the following
were absent : None .
Member Stone introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 73-28 CALLING FOR AN
ELECTION ON GENERAL OBLIGATION
BONDS OF 1973
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village
of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, as follows:
1. This Council has investigated the facts and
does hereby find, determine and declare that it is necessary
and expedient to borrow money on the authority of its General
Obligation Bonds for the purpose of park improvement for the
Village.
2. The proposition of authorizing the issuance of
$100,000 General Obligation Bonds for said purpose shall be
submitted to the qualified electors of the Village at a special
election to be held on December ~-, 1973. Said election shall
be held between the hours of 12:00 noon and 8:00 P.M. The
polling places shall be the Village Hall, Falcon Heights
Elementary School, and the Northwest Greenhouse in the Village
of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, or such other places as the
Council may hereafter designate by law.
3• The Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
post and publish according to law a Notice of Election, and
to prepare ballots for use at said election, which notice
and ballot shall be in substantially the following form:

OF SPECIAL ELECTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special election will
be held in and for the Village of Falcon Heights, Ramsey
County, Minnesota, on December ~-, 1973, between the hours
of 12:00 noon and 8:00 P.M, at which time the following
question will be submitted:
"Shall the Village of Falcon Heights be auth-
orized to borrow money on the authority of its
General Obligation Bonds in an amount not to
exceed $100,000, for the purpose of park
improvement?"
The polling places for said election will be the
Village Hall, Falcon Heights Elementary School and the
• Northwest Greenhouse, or such other places as the Council
may hereafter designate by law, at which places all of the
qualified electors of the Village may cast their ballots.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and
acting Clerk of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, DO
HEREBY CERTIFY that I have carefully compared the attached
and foregoing extract of minutes with the original minutes
of a meeting of the Village Council, held on the date there-
in indicated, which are on file and of record in my office,
and the same is a full, true and correct transcript there-
• from insofar as the same relate to a special election on the
issuance of general obligation bonds for the purpose of park
improvement in the amount of $100,000.
WITNESS my hand as such Clerk and the official

If you wish to vote in favor of the above proposition,
mark a cross (X) in the square below the word "YES".
If you wish to vote against the above proposition, jf-ark
a cross (X) in the square below the word "NO".

~-. The judges for said election shall be those same
judges appointed by the Village Council pursuant to law
for the general election to be held at the same time and
place.
5. Said election shall be held and conducted in accor-
dance with the statutes of the State of Minnesota applicable,
and the Council shall meet as required by law for the purpose
of canvassing said election and declaring the results thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by member Warkentien, and upon a vote
being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
A11, and the following voted against the same: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted.
