EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA
HELD: December 13, 1973
RE90LVPION #73-31
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a
regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village
of Falcon Heights, Minnesota,. was held at the Village
Hall on the 13th day of December, 1873, at .7;30 o'clock
p.m.
The following members were present: Black,
Stone, Ecklund and Stocker and Mayor Warkentien.
and the following were absent: None.
The Clerk presented affidavits of posting and
publication of notice of special election held in .accordance
with the resolution adopted on October 11, 1973, authorizing
said election to vote on the question of borrowing
money and issuing General Obligation Bonds in an amount
not to exceed $100,000, for the purpose of Park improve-
ment for the Village, and also presented the official
returns of the judges of election. Said affidavits
and returns were .duly. examined, approved and ordered
placed on file in the office of the Clerk.
Member B3ack introduced the
following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS
OF ELECTION
I•
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of
the Village of Falcon .Heights, Ramsey County, Minnesota,
that it is hereby found, determined and declared that
the special election held in and for said Village on
December ~4, 1g73 was in all respects duly and. legally
called and held and the returns thereof have been-
duly canvassed, and the votes cast at said election
for and against the following question were as follows:

"Shall the Village of Falcon Heights
be authorized to borrow money on
the authority of its General Obli-
gation Bonds in an amount not to
exceed $100,000 for the purpose
of .Park improvement?"

and said proposition having received the approval of a
majority. of the votes cast hereon is hereby declared to
have carried.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing
.resolution was duly seconded~by member Stocker
• and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof : Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and
Stone, and Councilwoman Stocker.
and the following voted against the same: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed
and adopted. _ )
