Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 14th day of February, 197?.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black,
Ecklund, and Steele, and Councilwoman Stocker, and the following were absent:
None .
Councilman Steele introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION #7l~-7
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INCREASE OF $.50 IN COM-
PENSATION FOR THE FALCON HEIGHTS VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPART-
MENT, RETROACTIVE AS OF JANUARY 1, 197
WHEREAS, the members of the Falcon Heights Volunteer Fire Department have
been receiving compensation for their Fire and Dri11 Time at $I~.00 and $3.00
respectively, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council allotted a raise in compensation for Fire and
Dri11 Time during the adoption of the 197t~ Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Falcon Heights, that it authorized an increase of $.50 per hour for compensation
for Fire Time, and $.50 per Dri11 Time for the Falcon Heights Volunteer Fire
Departn~nt, to be retroactive as of January 1, 197.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
• by Councilman Black, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Councilmen Black and Steele, and Councilwoman Stocker, and the
following voted against the same: Mayor Warkentien. Councilman Ecklund
abstained.
Whereupon, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
