Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 11th day of
April, 1974•
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black,
Ecklund, and Steele, and Councilwoman Stocker, and the following were absent:
None.
Councilman Steele introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION # 74-8
A RESOLUTION APPROVING MINNESOTA LAWS, 1974,
CHAPTER 208, PERTAINING TO FIRE DEPARTMENT
RELIEF ASSOCIATION BENEFITS FOR THE CITY OF
FALCON HEIGHTS VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, House File 2454 and Senate File 2450, was passed by the 19711
Minnesota Legislature, and
WHEREAS, The Secretary of the State of Minnesota requires a Certificate
of Approval of the special law by the governing body.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Falcon Heights: that it aoproveds Minnesota Laws, 1974, Chapter 208,
pertaining to Fire Department Relief Association Benefits for the City of
Falcon Heights Volunteer Fire Department, which authorizes the Council of the
. City of Falcon Heights full 3~risdiction as to the application of the law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Black , and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Ma3~or Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund and Steele,
and Councilwoman Stocker , and the following voted against the
same: None.
Whereupon, the Resolution was declared d sed and ad ed.
