HomeMy WebLinkAboutCCRes_74-10CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council • of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 25th day of April, 1971. The following"members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and Steele, and Councilwoman Stocker, and the following were absent: None. Councilman Ecklund introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 74-10 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECS FOR THE CONIl~IUNITY PARK AND DIRFICTING THE CLERK ALNtINI STRATOR TO ADVERTT SE FOR BIDS, SUBJECT TO THE SPECIFICATIONS, ON FILE, SAID BIDS TO BE RECEIVED BY 2:00 P.M. ON MAY 22, 1.97. WHEREAS, Engineer Lemberg presented plans and specifications for the proposed Community Park on Roselawn and Cleveland Avenues. NOW,. THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, that it approves said plans for the proposed Community Park, and direct the Clerk-Administrator to advertise for bids according to the specifications to be received by 2:00 P.M. on A~1ay 22, 19711, and also that it authorizes the installation of fencing as follows: On the east side of the proposed park, running north and south between the __ • park and ad3acent property owners (6 lots), a five foot chain link fence. Along the Hawkin's Easement, ad3acent to 1861 Moore Street, a four foot chain link fence, running the length of the easement on the property ad3oining 1861 Moore Street, and the Hawkins garden property. On the north side of the proposed park on Roselawn Avenue a four foot chain link fence. On the south border of the park and extending north along the south lawn of the Hawkins property to the easement, a four foot farm fence. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing .Resolution was duly seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and Steele, and Councilwoman Stocker, and the following voted against the same: None.
