Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council
of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of July, 197lt.
The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black Ecklund

Steele and Labalestra, and the following were absent: None.
Councilman Ecklund introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION #71~-18
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID FOR SEWER AND WATER SERVICES
FOR THE FALCON HEIGHTS COMMUNITY PARK TO COMN~tCIAL UTILITIES
INC., 965 PAYNE AVENUE, IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,976.00, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CLERK ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE
CONTRACTS
WHEREAS, the following tabulations of Bids were received:
CONTRACTORS BID
Shafer Contraoting Cbmpat~y, Inc. $8,210.00.
Commercial Utilities, Inc. 3,976.00
Clement Schmitz 6,857.00
Roseville P1bg. & Htg., Inc. 7,357.00
Robert 0. Westland Construction 6,656.00
NOW, TI~EREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
• Falcon Heights, that the City accept the low bid of Commercial Utilities, Inc.,
965 Payne Avenue, in the amount of $3,976.00, and authorizing the Mayor and
Clerk-Administrator to execute the contracts.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Black, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund,~Steele and Labalestra,
and the following voted against the same: None.
Whereupon, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
