CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS
COUNCIL RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
WHEREAS, a contract has been let (costs have been determined) for Ramsey
County's 1998 improvement of Larpenteur Avenue and the total cost of the
improvement is $3,544,626.06 including expenses incurred.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA:
1. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the city is hereby
declared to be 5182,332.15 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against
• benefitted property owners is declared to be 589,605.45.
2. The city clerk, with the assistance of the consulting city engineer, shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement
against every assessable lot, piece, or parcel of land within the district affected,
without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a copy of
such proposed assessment in the City office for public inspection.
3. The clerk shall upon completion of such proposed assessment, notify the council
thereof.
