CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS
COUNCIL RESOLUTION
Date: May 12, 1999
RESOLUTION APPROVING BID
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights is improving the following streets:
Albert (Ruggles to Roselawn)
Asbury (Larpenteur to Roselawn)
Crawford (Simpson to Pascal)
Garden Ave. (in front of Falcon Heights Elementary School)
Holton (Larpenteur to Roselawn)
Pascal (Larpenteur to Roselawn)
Ruggles (Snelling to Hamline
• Simpson (Larpenteur to Roselawn)
WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights will finance the cost of these
improvements through G.O. Bonds and special assessments; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for this project, five bids were
received, opened, and tabulated according to law; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Palda and Sons is the lowest responsible bidder and
the city engineer recommends entering into an agreement with said company for the
improvement;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Palda and Sons' bid, in the amount of
51,212,234.18 is approved by the city council.
