RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND
CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the council adopted December 13, 2000, a report has been
prepared by Howard R. Green Company with reference to the improvement of the following alleys:
1. Alley segment north of Hollywood Court, west of Snelling Avenue.
2. Alley segment south of Hollywood Court, west of Snelling Avenue.
3. Alley segment between Crawford Avenue and Larpenteur Avenue from Snelling Avenue to
Arona Street.
4. Alley segment between Crawford Avenue and Larpenteur Avenue from Arona Street and
North Pascal Street.
and this report was received by the council on February 14, 2001.
• WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, cost
effective, and feasible,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA:
1. The council will consider the improvement of such alleys in accordance with the report and
the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of
$242,500.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 14th day of March,
2001, in the council chambers of the city hall at 7:00 p.m. and the clerk shall give mailed and
published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
